Today was a rushed bento since I woke up late, hehe. The food is from my darling mom, yay!

The top tier has Bistek (beefsteak) Tagalog with red onion rings. Bistek is beef sirloin marinated and simmered in soy sauce and calamansi (Philippine lemon). One of the sides we usually serve it with is fried sliced potatoes. In my case, I used a cookie cutter to turn them into pretty flowers. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stand out much in the photo. For my bottom tier, I have little nori cow cut-outs traipsing on the bed of fresh steamed rice. Yum!
As requested by Julls, here’s a pic of the bento all assembled. It’s quite plain but I like it. It’s smaller than some bentos, as evinced by its proportional size next to the cologne bottle, but it’s just right for me, I guess.
