Quickie Chicken Teriyaki Bento

I was feeling extremely lazy today, coming from a one-day vacation so a simple bento was what I needed. Was tempted to not even make one, but the chicken breast that lay defrosted in the fridge made me guilty. Quickie chicken teriyaki to the rescue!

Chicken Teriyaki Bento

Bento #96 • 24 January 2007

Top:
• Fruit cocktail (in the polka dot container), Chicken teriyaki (recipe here), and carrots & green beans in oyster sauce.

Bottom:
• Umeboshi rice and Blueberry flavored Dewberry cookies

I threw in half a bag of Oberto Beef Jerky in my lunch box as well, so I had a lot of munchies today. Crossing my fingers I’ll feel less lazy tomorrow. :P
