Koroke and Gyoza Bento

A bento of various odds and ends, happily, it ended up pretty cohesive even if it was unplanned. No theme of course, but at least it addressed two of my primary concerns when packing a bento: (1) it has to taste good, and (2) there should be no empty spaces.

Koroke & Gyoza Bento

Bento #104 • 2 March 2007

• Shiso gyoza
• Sundried tomato pesto on tri-colore fusilli
• Cream croquettes
• Plum tomato wedges
• Peas

I bought the gyoza and the cream croquettes from Hatchin. Lazy as I was this morning, I tasted a gyoza and fortunately, it was good without sauce, since I was too lazy to fill a sauce container with soy. Unfortunately, since I wasn’t thinking about sauces or anything, I forgot to bring kewpie mayo for my koroke as well.
