One of my primary reasons for blogging is to share my love of food. It’s not because I’m an expert—heck, I’m on a never ending experiment in the kitchen, or because I’m experienced in all sorts of cuisines—traveling was never a priority with me. It’s simply because I love food, cooking and eating and I like sharing that love with other people. Call me a food fangirl. I think that would be the most appropriate description for me.

So when people take an interest in what I have to say, I’m elated to no end. I mean, people listen and better yet, they relate to my foodie fangirling. So when a nationally circulated newspaper decides to stop and give me the time of day, can you just imagine how thrilled I am?
