A new dish on their menu is the Tenderloin Nuggets with Mashed Potatoes on Flat Bread (Php 350). Heavy because of the mashed potatoes, this is something I’d recommend to people dining solo. It doesn’t work for shared family meals because it feels like a full person meal, rather than a sharing family dish.
While it’s listed under starters, we had our second pizza, a Tenderloin & Sausage Pizza (Php 350) near the end of the meal because as our host Zee confided, their pizza oven fits a single pizza at a time. Makes me wonder whether it’s possible to claim dibs on the pizza oven because I so love their pizza.
To round out our meal, we were given humble looking pancakes. Served ala Mode, their simple appearance belied the wonders it held. A blend of crisp, fluffy, caramelized, hot, cinnamon-y and creamy-cold, it was a perfect ending to a great meal. No wonder Chef Jude proudly includes it among his list of must-trys.
As the evening drew to a close, we were finally joined by Chef Jude, back from being all frazzled in his wonderful kitchen. He then faced a different kind of stress as a dozen or so bloggers all aimed cameras at him. “Ay, parang paparazzi!” (This is like facing the paparazzi!) our slightly flustered chef declared. After talking with us about the restaurant, the food, and their vision for the place “that’s how we cook at home”, conversation moved on to upcoming concerts, blogging and the latest gossip. I guess it’s just a testament to how homey and relaxing the place is.
If you’re looking for a restaurant to surprise that special someone, The Frazzled Cook fits the bill. It’s a bit hard to go to and parking is limited but trust me, it’s worth the extra effort. It’s not exactly cheap, but prices are reasonable enough and I’m betting that you’ll probably walk away happy.

WOW! love your photos!!
Love the photos! Will definitely try to visit. A lot of tempting things there! We were wondering about the paella, though. Is it really for five people? When you order the dish, do they give you 5 little paella woks or something? Hehe.
Barangay Addition Hills po yun…
@Fran
Thankies!
@chris
Let’s go, let’s go! John wants to bring Jamie and Jino there too. And no, the paella is in a single paellera. But there’s a lot, I think it just looks tiny in the pic.
@Tere
Sabi na e! I had a suspicion it was Addition Hills since yun yung naririnig kong lugar, but when I googled, the one I found was Additional Hills. Since I’m not familiar with the area, I decided to go with what the other site said. Thanks for the correction, will edit now
I went to all the pages waiting for the Hello Kitty cutlery picture.
Food looks yummy!
Aaack. Sorry Mrs. G! I feel compelled to cut long posts to make it more manageable and to make it load faster. But at least you were rewarded by Hello Kitty in the end. ^_^
