Oh look! A bento!

It feels like forever since my last bento post. Actually, it feels like forever since my last post. These apologetic “Oh, I’ve been away for so long!” posts seem to be getting more common, unfortunately. And while my excuses are always the same, fact is, it still applies as I’m still forever busy.

Chicken Popcorn Bento

One of the few times I was actually able to pack lunch.

I still love this blog. I still love preparing bento—even if I can hardly find the time for it nowadays. I still love to write. In fact, I have another blog in the works, Kingdom Cow, though it gets updated even less. But if you have time, please drop by. Just to show you I have a life outside food.

Anyway, this is basically what this post is–a small note to reconnect with you guys. And to tell you that I miss this blog and I miss you, dear readers. I’ll be dropping in whenever I can.

Oh yeah. Above. A bento. Chicken popcorn, a small salad of diced tomatoes and feta cheese, and some green beans, sliced and sauteed in butter and soy sauce. And a pickled plum on my rice. Just because the rice looks so sad without anything on it. :( Much like me when I can’t find the time to blog.

    Yes, I remembered you/your blog when I discovered Saizen in Trinoma last sunday. I found hard boiled egg molds! I dream of making my own bento lunches soon.

    YAAY! More Bento posts please. I’m not too crazy about the press release/press events posts kasi I read them also on other blogs.

    Hi there! I’ve found your blog a while ago but never commented. But I’ve recently started to blog about bento too, and I tagged you in my last post! So feel free to tag 10 blogs too. Hope to hear from you! Bye.

    Thanks everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts and super tardy replies lately. Life has been on fast forward lately. I hope I catch up soon!

    @Jay
    Thanks for the encouragement! I try to keep the events related posts to a minimum—sometimes, where are just some invites I really really find intriguing. I still have a large backlog of posts, mostly non-event but they get deprioritized since they’re mostly non time-sensitive. I really hope to catch up with them soon!

    Always happy to see a bento post from you :)

    Thanks Lisa! I just finished putting another one together, but since I don’t have photoshop in the office, I’ll have to wait until I get home before I can put it up. Here’s to hoping I get home at a decent hour tonight! *crossing fingers*
