With the holiday season, it’s Starbucks left and right as fans try to complete their planners. I know of people who’ve even claimed multiple planners already. So, you’d think I’d be sick of Starbucks by now, right? Wrong! At least, not when it’s in ice cream form. You read that right, STARBUCKS ICE CREAM.
Yep. Starbucks Ice Cream. I didn’t even know it existed until I saw it on an online buddy’s food blog. I was poking around the Ben & Jerry’s shelf when I spotted pint-sized containers of Vanilla Bean Cream and Mocha Frappuccino. Bordering on the minimalist, the packaging tried to mimic a standard Starbucks Coffee Container. Cute touch. It wasn’t cheap, so I opted go with just one flavor, in this case Mocha Frappuccino since I’m a Mocha person.
Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino Ice Cream combines rich, chocolate and smooth coffee ice creams for an evil, velvety treat that can satiate the most demanding sweet tooth. How does the ice cream quality compare to other brands? I honestly can’t make a decent comparison because I just kept eating and eating and eating. Food blog fail, yes? Though, I can honestly say, I like this better than the actual Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino.
Next time you get a chance to go to S&R, or you can wheedle a member-friend to take you, check if they have these cause it’s a yummy way to get your coffee rush. Whether it’s from caffeine or from sugar—hey, it works!
