April’s almost ending. Have you grabbed a copy of Yummy Magazine’s April Issue yet? I got mine a few days ago, and it’s full of interesting things as always. It’s chockful of summer-themed recipes for enjoying at home and for serving at parties.
Among the things that caught my eye are the recipes for a variety of grilled dishes. They’ll be perfect for beachside outings or for summer barbecues at home. As expected, the Bring Your Own Baon feature caught my eye again, with tea sandwiches that will make an awesome fit for bento lunches. Two beverage recipes had me all excited: the leche flan milkshake and the Asian mojitos. Perfect for summer days and summer nights respectively. Another bonus for me is the included recipe for doggie cookies! I’ve been meaning to try my hand at baking doggie treats for Cooper and this would be a good place to start.
Aside from the recipes, I was also excited to read about locally available bacon jam. After oohing and aahing each time we see things like this online, it’s exciting to find out that we can purchase some locally. I was also happy to read about Yabu, that katsu hotspot that has bloggers raving and has been on my to-visit list for ages.
While April is almost over, the fact is, we still have half of summer waiting for us, so there’s still more than enough time to enjoy the April issue’s summer-tastic ideas. Grab your copy of the April issue before it disappears from the newsstands!
