Mixed reactions ranging from desire to disgust are usual when we’re talking about the Luther Burger. Named after singer Luther Vandross, this controversial sandwich is a Bacon Cheeseburger with doughnuts, typically Krispy Kremes in place of a bun.

One of the most popular anecdotes about the Luther Burger aka Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburger comes from Google HQ. It appears that they served it to celebrate the birthday of one of their cafeteria heads. Despite the icky, sticky, yummy, disgusting, savory, greasy- looking image, it was pronounced yummy.

We interrupt regular programming to clamor for the return of Mc Donald’s Philippines Cheeseburger Deluxe! Recent reports from friends say McD’s claims it has been phased out already. Personally, I have noticed that it’s not listed on their menu boards anymore. I tried to order the Double Cheeseburger Deluxe a week or two ago despite it not being on the menu and still managed to get one. Was it one its way to being phased out at that time?

Why is she even blabbing about a cheap, fastfood burger? There are lots more that are yummier, you may say. Well, Mc Do offers cheap and fast sustenance, especially on busy work days when there’s just no time to enjoy a proper meal. And among their burgers, the Deluxe style is the best — it’s creamier and more flavorful, thanks to the wonderful intermingling of melty cheese and mayonnaise. It transforms an ordinary, mass-produced fastfood burger into a thing of wonder.
